Saint Kabir

It is believed at he was born in 1440, near Varanasi and he grew up in a Muslim weaver family, but some say he was really the son of a Brahmin widow, and was adopted by a Muslim childless couple. The play deals with the later part of Kabir Das’ life, when he teaches both Hindu and Muslim faiths.

Samarth Ramdas

1608 – It was a happy coincidence that Ramdas was born on the exalted day of Sri Rama known as Sri Rama Navami in the year 1608 AD The parents were the devotees of Sri Rama and Maruthi, their household gods. Sri Ramdas was first named Narayana and he became latterly known as Sri Samarth Ramdas. Ekanath, another Saint of Maharashtra, was contemporary of Suryaji Pant and he foretold the coming of great saviour of Hindu Religion.

Ramkrishna Paramhans

Feb 18, 1836 – Ram Krishna Paramhans, the spiritual guru who once again enlighten the light of Hinduism in every one’s soul. He was born at Kamarpukur near Calcutta, in Bengal on 18 February, 1836.

Yugrishi Sriram Sharma Acharya

Sep 20, 1911 – Shriram Sharma was born on the 20th September 1911 as the son of Pt. Roopkishore Sharma and Mata Dankunvari Devi in Anvalkheda (Dist. Agra, India). Even in his childhood, Acharyaji showed that he was concerned for the welfare of common masses as he took a brave step of nursing an old “untouchable” woman suffering from leprosy against the strong disapproval and displeasure of his family.
